Jefferson Geiger is a copy editor at the Summit Daily News. He has a passion for telling stories and before joining the newspaper Geiger worked as a reporter for Alamosa’s Valley Courier. There his beat involved local government, schools, restaurants, breweries and more.

When he isn't keeping a pulse on current events, editing articles or laying out pages, Geiger particularly enjoys writing about pop culture and video games. He is fascinated by the ever-changing landscape of developers, artists, filmmakers, writers and others  who creatively push boundaries. Until he started at the Valley Courier he freelanced for ZAM and GameSpot, and previously covered arts and entertainment for Colorado State University’s Rocky Mountain Collegian.
